Matthew: Jesus Sends Out The Twelve And Hears From John (Chapter 10 &11)

In this episode, Tim is joined by Theological Professor/Bible Teacher David Klingler to discuss the book of Matthew, Chapters 10 and 11. Jesus sends out disciples to do as he has done, proclaiming the kingdom of heaven is near. He instructs them to go only to the Jews and no other people. While the disciples went on to teach, Jesus heard about John from his disciples, asking, "Are you the one who is to come?" Jesus responds to give back to John that can affirm He is the one. We end our time together talking about the well-known verse, "come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
